WHAT WE DO

Minima was established by Helen Kilmartin in 1996 as an interior design consultancy and retailer representing many of the world’s leading furniture, lighting and home accessories brands. Over the last two decades Minima has worked on leading private and commercial developments in Ireland, Europe and the Americas.

With an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship, Minima combine contemporary design with antiques and art to create unique spaces offering a single source for furniture, lighting and accessories.

Our designers guide clients’ architects and designers early in the project to visualise the pieces proposed and provide layouts which are functional as well as sympathetic to the architecture. Overseeing and managing the supply and fit to timely completion has enabled Minima to build a loyal clientele and to work on many prestigious projects. Minima is an authorised dealer for every brand we sell and do not sell replicas or fakes.

Over the years, Minima discovered many emerging manufacturers and include them alongside leading established brands. This website and the Dublin showroom displays favourites from these brands. 

A new addition since 2014 is Minima's online shop with delivery by professional furniture handlers direct from the manufacturers. We offer free fully insured delivery to most of Europe on many items. We will also endevour to price match our competitors on any product of the same specificiation. There are differences; The foam required for Ireland and the UK is fire retardant and more expensive. Please refer to the Irish Statute Book for further details on Irish foam safety standards.
