Mathilda is a modern design in the architectural sense, in the proportions between the whole and the detail. The concept is simple, perfect for its intended use: two trestles, which give solidity and affinity, hold the seat and act as a support for the backrest while also making the chairs stackable.
Seat and upholstered back are flame-retardant, stress-resistant polyurethane foam in varied densities on ash frame; raffiawrapped back is also available. Arm and leg connection is covered with fabric or leather armbands; arms and legs are ash or oak in a range of finishes.
