Oluce
Since being established in 1945, Oluce have been responsible for many design classics of lighting.
Established in 1945 by the master Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is the oldest Italian lighting design company that is still active today. As early as 1951, Oluce registered a success at the IX Triennale lighting section, with an indirect incandescent luminator designed by Franco Buzzi. The company quickly achieved international through Domus magazine. Tito Agnoli achieved an important success in 1955, with mentions at the second "Compasso d\'oro" for two of his lamps. In 1956 two other mentions followed in rapid succession: for a truly remarkable table lamp in laminar polyvinyl, and for a pendant light with double perspex shade. And then there was the ground-breaking "Agnoli" model, a spot light supported on a slender stem, which in 1954 marked the decline of lampshades and the rise of highly simplified floor lamps for domestic lighting.
It was at the end of the decade, thanks to the encounter with Joe and Gianni Colombo, that Oluce took a more pronounced revolutionary slant. The Colombo brothers were seeking a receptive environment for their audacious designs: this was Oluce. In 1967 Colombo created his famous"Coupé", a curved stem of considerable size supporting an elegant semi-cylindrical shade, now exhibited at the MoMa in New York. In 1968 the Coupé light won the "International Design Award" of Chicago\'s American Institute of Interior Designers. 1970 saw the birth of the "Halogen light", the first indoor halogen light to appear on the market which became an unsurpassed icon of a design that is both functional and contemporary. In the meantime, a new and important era had begun at Oluce, coinciding with the transfer of ownership from Ostuni to the Verderi family, and dominated by one of the great masters of Italian design: Vico Magistretti. Under is creative authority Atollo even became a sort of template, a graphic silhouette that immediately rendered the concept of a "lamp".
At the start of the \'90s, it was the rigour of the emergent Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein which characterised the company\'s style. In 1997 the "Estela" lamp was the word\'s first industrially-produced object designed by the brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana, poetic narrators of their far-away Brazil. In 2000, the "Nuvola" series marked the start of Toni Cordero\'s collaboration with Oluce. One of the leading Italian architects of his generation, Cordero imposed his vision through the use of utterly disruptive and unconventional forms. Nuvola has been his last, wonderful project.
In 2001 white Murano glass stones and transparent perspex reeds populated the Oluce booth at Euroluce. For Oluce, the new millennium opens with new partnerships and new energy. But this is no longer the history of Oluce, but rather of Oluce\'s contribution to contemporary design.

Pallucco
Pallucco, historic brand in the world of design specialized in the production of decorative lamps and interior furnishings, was born in the 1970s in Rome thanks to architect Paolo Pallucco. In the early 1980s, the company moved to the Veneto region and immediately stood out for the non- conformist concept of its designs and image. Pallucco stands for design culture and experimentation of art, architecture and design: in an ongoing exploration of the boundaries of contemporary design and with great freedom of expression, which is the authentic label of Pallucco, the company switches from the research of the most diverse idioms and styles, under the guidance of Hannes Wettstein and Jurgen Bey, to contamination with the fashion world through the collaboration with photographer Peter Lindbergh and stylist Rei Kawakubo. Pallucco's collection includes designs that revive ancient techniques such as glass blowing in cage or explore the technical and aesthetic potential of metal mesh or again reinterpret the traditional chandelier in light of inspirations taken from modern art. A new language, made up of creativity, quality and attention to details, brings exclusive products to the Pallucco collection, alongside models which have become icons, such as the Fortuny lamp, a visionary masterpiece from the early twentieth century and still contemporary. 2017 marks a turning point for the company. In fact, from November 2016, the new owner of Pallucco is Venetian entrepreneur Lino Lando, who already owns Venetia Studium, a company that manufactures Fortuny® branded lamps. It is his passion for design, his awareness of the prestigious standing of the Pallucco brand and his desire to incorporate into a single ownership the two original designs of the Fortuny lamp which led Lino Lando to decide to acquire the company with a main objective: to consolidate and develop the brand through ongoing research and the study of new designs.

Thonet
The unique success story of Thonet began with the work of master carpenter Michael Thonet (1796-1871), which established the transition from manual furniture production to industrial production. Michael Thonet succeeded in making the breakthrough to industrial production in 1859 in Vienna with chair No.14, later called the „Vienna coffee house chair“, for which the innovative technique of bending solid beech wood was used. The individual production steps were standardized and the division of labor concept was implemented for the first time in furniture production. In addition, the chair was easy to disassemble and could be shipped in a space-saving way. Chair No.14 cleared the way for Thonet to become a global enterprise, and numerous successful bentwood designs followed. Thonet’s production peaked in 1912: that year, two million units were produced and sold worldwide.
The family company has had its head offices in Frankenberg in the north of Hesse. Today, all bentwood and tubular steel classics as well as the contemporary collections are produced here in a facility with cuttingedge production equipment and a staff of workers with vast experience to draw upon. Thonet still develops innovative products that stand out due to their quality materials and timeless formal language and always take sustainability and durability under consideration.

Zanat
Zanat Furniture - Craftsmanship is the essence of our company’s identity. Our very name, Zanat, is Bosnian for “craft”, and the artistry and skill that it implies is also vital for fulfilling our mission of Universal Sustainability. There are many reasons why we still sketch new designs directly on wood surfaces, manually chiseling and cutting the grain to bring the drawings to life, but we would be lying if we didn’t include the sheer fun of woodcarving, and a certain emotional attachment to the hand-carving techniques used by four generations of our family on the list as well.
